Founded in 2022 by Jay Dalgarno, German Autowerks has grown from humble beginnings into a state-of-the-art 4,000 sq ft facility dedicated to the servicing, repair, and transforming German vehicles. Originally established as a BMW-only specialist, customer demand quickly saw our services expand to include the wider Volkswagen Audi Group (VAG) range — covering Audi, Volkswagen, SEAT and various other makes and models — while maintaining our core reputation as a BMW and MINI performance, track and servicing specialist.

Jay, the technical lead at German AutoWorks, began his career at BMW where he earned the title of BMW Apprentice of the Year before progressing to Senior Technician. Since leaving BMW in 2017, his career has been dedicated to motorsport, race engineering and high-performance car builds. His work includes customer race cars, track builds, championship-winning setups, and globally recognised performance projects, with cars built for clients across the UK, Europe, USA and beyond.
